s (read staggering home from a nightclub with my liver a little worse for wear).

A problem I often have with wipes though is that they tend to irritate the sensitive skin under my eyes. These are no exception, in fact these are pretty bad. They are quite dry and have been since the day they were opened so it isn’t due to me not closing them properly. This means I have to rub a fair bit to shift any eye makeup and it does get really quite sore. I still wake up with panda eyes too so it isn’t worth the effort. In the end I relegating these to swatching duty only and use gentler wipes on my face.
The wipes themselves have a fresh cucumber sort of scent and you get 25 in a pack. They claim to remove makeup (which they don’t do very well), tone (meh) and purify (no). I think I paid about £2.99 for these on offer in a super market. Honestly I won’t be repurchasing as there are plenty of other brands out there which work better for me. It’s a while since I’ve been so disappointed with a product, usually I like Garnier too, but these get a bit fat thumbs down from me xxx
I always use boots own makeup wipes to take off my makeup. they work ok but im always concerned about being too rough with my eyes and pulling out lashes. what product do you suggest for removing makeup daily?
ReplyDeleteI know it's a bit of a faff but I like to properly wash my face at night with a cleanser and the little scrublet that comes with the L'Oreal facewash (still using that facewash too, love it!). I use an eye makeup remover too and a toner (some reviews will be forthcoming soon on the ones I'm trying out). Basically if the cotton ball with the toner comes away looking clean I know I got all my makeup off when I washed my face lol. By far my favourite eye makeup remover is Lancome Bifacil however it's a bit pricey. Hope that helps! x
ReplyDeleteI really like Tesco's BNatural Organic Eye Make-up Remover. I stopped using wipes because they were too rough on my lashes.
