You will no doubt have heard that Google are once again
meddling with things and are getting rid of their Google Reader service in
July. Frankly I find this annoying. Google reader is my favourite method of
reading blogs. It is a one stop shop for me to catch up on all the blogs I
follow via GFC and other blogs that I added via their web address.
Angry owl is angry...
But it doesn’t matter how much I shake my fist angrily in
the general direction of Google Reader is going (and I suspect Google Friend
Connect won’t be far behind) so it’s time to look for a new way of following my
favourite blogs. I am now using Bloglovin. You can find the link to follow this
blog with Bloglovin in the bar to your right or here. The main benefit of Bloglovin for me was that you can easily import all of the
blogs you follow on Google Reader with one click rather than having to manual
follow everything again.
What do you think of the whole Google Reader drama? And just
out of curiosity, what is your preferred method of following blogs?

ReplyDeleteI love Google Reader it's just so convenient, but if I can't have that it will be bloglovin' for me... I have no love for google+.
